Laptops go Live

Check out this article about laptops and how they're utilized by some of our finest performers.  I especially enjoyed the bit about the Battles bank of sounds (probably because I had no idea what was REALLY making their music at their recent show at MFNW.)

My band uses a laptop.. it plays backing tracks, sends a metronome track to our drummer's headphones and is also used in conjunction with keyboards to make live-played piano and synth sounds. It's like the most important member of our band.
